Starting Out with Internet Blackjack
Internet blackjack is such a convenience since we can play anytime and anywhere on our computers. And if we're looking to play solo or at a full table, we won't be disappointed because these conditions are not hard to come by when we play online. Also, the point-and-click system is very easy when we're just learning to play this card game. So, what can we expect when we're starting out with Internet blackjack?
First of all, start with play money rather than real money when starting out with Internet blackjack. This choice is always available in most blackjack online sites so it's always advantageous to opt for it.
When we see the table that we'd like to join, we just have to click on the "join table" tab. We'd be asked to enter a "buy-in" and when we confirm that, we'd be seated and ready for the next round. Then, armed with the aim of beating the dealer's card total without busting (exceeding 21), move options and bet amounts will show up on our screens when it's our turn to make a move.
Just like playing live, we'd be asked to hit, stand, split (in case of pairs), or double down. So, using the dealer's up card and our initial two cards, we only need to point and click on our choice of move. When everyone at the table has taken their turn, the dealer's other card will show and depending on the table rule, the dealer will draw until they reach their restriction (usually, that's standing on all 17s) or bust. Afterwards, we'd be accordingly awarded our winnings or our losses taken before the next round commences.
And there is one circumstance when our choice in moves is varied. This is when the dealer shows an ace card and we're asked if we want insurance. Now, there is a time limit too and this can go on quickly so we'd better keep our eyes on the table so we wouldn't get lost in the rounds.
Starting out with Internet blackjack couldn't be any easier with so many playing sites offering free and play (not real!) money games. What we can expect from playing blackjack online are that we'd be prompted to make our moves with the option buttons ready for our point-and-click command. That's why when we know how to play in theory, we can easily get used to practicing blackjack basic strategy when we play online and even get into the real money games sooner rather later too!
